Excellent Service
We got the skylynx from downtown Vancouver (Burrard St and Melville St - beside the Hyatt Regency) and found we had a comfortable scenic ride to Whistler. We availed of the door to door option (dropping at our hotel door - the large bus stopped at a bus drop off point in Whistler and a shuttle took us to the door). Again our return was to the airport (door to door). We paid a little extra for this service but it suited our needs. We could not fault the service

I travel regularly between Whistler and Vancouver. I used to use Epic Rides but switched to Skylynx because they have nicer buses with toilets, reclining seats, outlets for charging and more pickup/drop off locations including Whistler Creekside.

The buses are always on time (unless there's traffic) and the drivers are friendly and professional. One thing I would like to see is an option for tipping the drivers while booking.

For visitors to Whistler wanting best views of Howe Sound, sit on the driver's side of the bus en route to Whistler and passenger side back to Vancouver.

We were picked up at the Vancouver Airport 1 hour late but through no fault of the driver. Traffic can be challenging. Our driver Joe was funny and engaging and also doubled as tour guide as he pointed out things and gave a bit of history, information “and all that Jazz” of the area as we drove up to Whistler. He even gave recommendations to local restaurants which we did try some and he was spot on! This guy is a wonderful ambassador to your area and he’s a keeper! The ride back to Vancouver was on time, driver was friendly and professional. Overall a good experience, would definitely use this service again!

Our driver from Vancouver to whistler was Joe and he was great. He gave commentary throughout the trip with lots of fun and interesting facts about the area, activities to do, history etc. Even as a whistler resident it was wonderful to hear all about the place I call home!
Bus was on time, comfortable with decent leg room and soft seats.

Awesome Trip

This is a perfect way to get to Whistler from Vancouver. The ride was beautiful and relaxing. There are
plugs to charge your phone and the drivers were very knowledgeable of the area. They shared details of
the history along the trip. It was very comfortable, relaxing and I would definitely do it again!

Professional and nice drivers. Safe trip! I asked for switching the departure time ahead, and the driver easily did it by clicking his iPad with no extra charge. The schedule platform they are using is awesome! But I realized the bus was only 50% occupied, hopefully the bus company is not suffering a loss.

I've taken Skylynx from Vancouver to Squamish and back a few times now and have always enjoyed the ride. The drivers have always been professional, friendly and courteous, the busses have power outlets and wifi, they're always on time too. Very much recommend if you're taking the bus!

I took a round trip with YVR Skylynx from downtown Vancouver to Whistler this past Saturday and it was excellent.

The ride was especially convenient for me because the downtown stop is located right out the door of the hotel I was staying at, the Regency Hyatt on Burrard St.

I took the 7 am departure from Van to Whistler. The bus was nearly empty, so it was quiet, peaceful and I was able to get a sleep on the way up.

The bus arrives at the bus loop at the base of Whistler village. The drop location provides excellent access to most of Whistler's sites including restaurants, hotels and the ski hill itself.

After a muddy day of mountain biking, I returned to Vancouver on the 2 pm departure from Whistler. The driver was extra accommodating considering I wasn't extraordinarily clean. He allowed me on the bus early to change in the bus' lavatory.

The bus itself was quite nice. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The onboard amenities are limited to the lavatory and wifi. The wifi was ok to send messages and check email but not fast enough to do other things that require more speed.

In the end, the rides were comfortable, quiet, and on time... all very good things.

I highly recommend YVR Skylynx for your travels between Vancouver and Whistler.

Excellent service. We got on the bus on Melville street, one of the Hyatt Regency entrances. Very friendly driver from Rumania. We had a good chat. The bus was very confortable, a and had lavatory facilities. We were dropped at whistler information centre., were the bus stop is. We took the bus back to Vancouver after 5 days. Very convenient way of travelling if you do not want to drive or you do not have a car.

Sent Grandparents/Kids to Squamish to meet us for camping trip - a bit of a challenge as grandparents don't speak English, kids need directions at destination. Brilliant service, clean/modern & fully-equipped buses, courteous/attentive drivers in both directions. The only thing I would wish for is - a bit of license-flexibility for these guys (would be great if they could drop at S2S Gondola or Porteau Cove as well).

This morning our driver was a lovely gentleman called Singh, he was pleasant, informative and very helpful. The YVR kiosk was able to move me to an earlier departure time as I arrived ahead of schedule. This was done instantly with no hassles.

I’ve taken Skylynx twice now & both times had a wonderful experience. I caught the bus from downtown Vancouver. I liked that the driver announced right away that we would be stopping in Squamish briefly and that there was free wifi onboard and a washroom at the back. Seats were comfortable & driver was in control. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone travelling to Whistler.

Driver was excellent journey very smooth

Skylynx has very convenient times and pickup locations with amazing customer service! Oh, and the best buses for the best price.

After getting our luggage quicker than we expected, we ran to the Skylynx counter and they were able to put us on an earlier shuttle to Whistler. This saved us sitting around the YVR airport for 2.5 hours. Our driver was Joe. He was fun, full of local knowledge and trivia. All along the 2.5 drive, he was pointing things out to us. He was even able to direct us to our AirBnB unit from the bus station.

All in all, I highly recommend them. There is no need for a car in Whistler during the winter.

All thanks to our driver Joe who was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We hit snow along
the way, the conditions deteriorated but Joe kept a safe speed. My husband is a truck driver and
marvelled at Joe’s driving. Thanks again for the wonderful ride and great personality!

Our bus driver Joe was extremely entertaining and had a lot of great history about where we were in Whistler and also our journey between Whistler and Vancouver. The ride was extremely smooth and Joe is also an amazing driver. I would highly recommend Skylinx if you need an affordable quick safe ride between YVR/Downtown Vancouver and Whistler.

Skylynx took us from Van. a/p to Whistler and back. Great service. On-time. Drivers were competent, helpful, and enjoyable (running highlights). Busses were state-of-the-art (free WiFi) and clean. We've been riding Whistler busses for about 16yrs. and Skylynx is doing a far better job than their predecessors, whose names I won't mention.

I had no idea that YVR Skylynx only launched in December because it was so well run. The website is easy to use for bookings, the price competitive to other vendors and the actual PU/DO well run. They also have lots of time slots available to suit your calendar.

One point of constructive feedback would be to let customers know if the bus isn't going to be a Skylynx branded one. On the way back from Whistler we booked a late night one and it wasn't branded like the first one, so I only knew it was the right bus because I thought to ask. Including that information in an email would be helpful :)

This service was fantastic - especially if you can get to Burrard metro. If you’re staying at the Hyatt In Vancouver or/ and the Westin in Whistler, it’s effectively a door to door service at an amazing price.

It cost us just CAD $30 pp to include 23kg suitcase, hand luggage and ski bags.
They also have a mini bus service for about $7pp which takes you to other hotels after the coach terminates at Gateway Loop but as the Westin was on their regular stops, there was no extra charge.

We got to know this by booking our transfer using Whistler.com which allowed us to speak to their offices using a UK telephone number which was really useful and the price is the same as booking online. Also, when I changed the time, they did so very quickly, refunding items etc.with no fuss and resending my tickets via email. Very good service.

We were origanilly going with the Shuttle (part of ridebookers) which was door to door at $69pp (+tax) and also have a Uk number to call on but their customer service was not nearly as friendly and quite pressurised as she emphasised it was non refundable, it was a very busy time and they’d already put on a bigger coach. This also meant the transfer would have taken longer by the time they’d picked everyone up and dropped them all off so I‘m glad I went with Skylynx.

The Skylynx coach was modern, had WiFi, toilet and foot rests and our outbound driver was particularly amusing, throwing a few jokes into his normal banter. The drivers did all the heavy lifting of luggage and the two hour drive was very comfortable with stunning scenery.

I should mention that by boarding in Downtown many of the seats had been taken by those coming from the airport but we still got four seats together (make sure one in your party sorts our seats while another sorts out luggage).

Coming back on the 5.40pm we each had a double seat to ourselves so we could crash out after the day's skiing. The concierge at the Westin told us about the 5.40 service. I didn’t see it offered on their website but I heard they’ve got together with another company.

The pain is getting to the Hyatt from the hotel you might be staying in if you have loads of luggage as taxis have a fixed fare (no Uber in Vancouver) and they therefore don’t want to take you short distances. I guess the trick is to take two taxis.

We were impressed by Yvr Skylynx. Their name suggests it’s just an airport run but their downtown service, their competitive price and personalised drop off made it a great choice over other options.

I used Skylynx three times in just over a week and was very pleased with service. I booked return travel from helpful assistant on desk just outside arrivals when I flew in from London for my holiday in Whistler. I also returned with Skylynx from a day trip to Vancouver with my son who is working the ski season. Good flexible schedule and polite helpful drivers in each journey. All three coaches were very clean and comfortable.

It is a little more expensive than some of the other Whistler shuttle buses. But the fact that the drop off/pick up is right at the airport is very convenient. Other services I used it was in downtown Vancouver, which adds an additional train ride into the travel itinerary.

For my shuttle to Whistler, I booked it the night before. I called and the person on the phone was very friendly and competent. He was able to get me scheduled on a shuttle that was the time I needed and wasn't showing up online because it was sold out. When my flight got delayed, it was also very easy to be moved onto a later shuttle on Standby (which was also not available online).

Also coming back from Whistler, I was able to be put on a bus on the spot at the Whistler gateway loop because another person was a no show (I'd missed my original bus by 5 minutes). The driver was very busy but took the time to help me get back to the airport on time. I booked a later shuttle online and he checked me into that and allowed me to ride on his bus. The flexibility/agility saved me on both occasions! Thanks!

Thank you to Skylynx Whistler for coming to our rescue last minute! The local taxi service is USELESS 😡 we prebooked a cab the night before our departure to ensure we were @ station in plenty of time to load & prepare for bus trip but they never showed up- telling us even when called they were on their way but without a big enough car to take all 4 passengers and luggage. Skylynx sent a shuttle and held bus for us! Thank you for helping out in a stressful situation! Can highly recommend. Warm comfortable buses and friendly drivers 😊

The coach was new, with excellent facilities and above expected comfort. The booking procedure was easy, efficient and accurate. If this is a new service, then they are getting off to the right start. The ride was smooth and departed from Vancouver airport to Whistler on time as scheduled. I didn't know it would make a stop in Vancouver and then had three stops in the Whistler area. Bus driver was friendly, had a sense of humor in making scheduled announcements, went through safety briefings and loaded and unloaded bags like a pro. I'd highly recommend this service. The drive up to Whistler is so beautiful to see on this bus. The wifi was not working very well so just slept or enjoyed the view.

I rode Skylynx today for the first time from Whistler to Downtown Vancouver and the experience was positive from start to finish. The driver came early to load the bus, gave a good safety briefing, left on time, drove carefully on the road, and got everyone to Vancouver on time. I also had a positive experience when booking the ride online.

Skylynx provided us with value for money, reliable transport to whistler and the airport. I'd travel with them anytime.

First-time user of YVR Skylynx and happy to say that I will do it again. I was meeting some friends in Whistler and flew-in to YVR and was directed by the airport help desk to their YVR Skylynx Whistler shuttle service. I will breakdown my review into a few key areas as I am an avid online reviewer: Location - The kiosk is right by the international arrivals area in the YVR airport and you cannot miss it. It's just tucked away to the right side by the pay phone section. You should see a sign and some service people there to help you out. Service - The agents at the concierge kiosk desk were well-mannered and helpful. I paid for the service on the spot with a credit card hassle-free. The kiosk agent was nice enough to walk me to the bus waiting area after I paid. I suspect this may not happen if the staff are busy with other customers. Bus was on-time and it was a large white motor coach bus with beautiful YVR Skylynx graphics on the side. The bus had nice seats that can recline and a bathroom at the back of the bus. Bus driver was nice and helped load luggage. Price - The price was on the pricier side, but the service was good and the coach was new. I would travel with them again and would recommend this service to others. Wendy
